Our Shiki Futons are made from 100% natural unbleached cotton that is not treated with pesticide. The cotton is minimally processed and is not bleached, so there are no other chemicals used except for the necessary Boric acid treatment that is bonded molecularly to the cotton.

If you have problems with allergies from synthetic materials usually found in conventional mattresses and futons, our organic futon will help you relax and sleep with a clear mind. The best part is that we don't charge a premium for something "organic." All of our Shiki Futons are manufactured with organic cotton by default.

You'll find simply comfortable layers and layers of cotton batting. Our Shiki Futons are hand tied and tufted to allow the cotton batting to stay in place and retain its shape over time.
